Yb:YAP Crystals, Brewster cut
Yttrium aluminate (Yb3+YAP) doped with Yb3+ is a biaxial orthorhombic crystal. YAP crystal hardness and thermal conductivity are similar to YAG, but exhibit a highly anisotropic thermal expansion coefficient and are birefringent. The absorption cross section of Yb:YAP crystal is higher than that of Yb:YAG crystal. We offer Yb:YAG crystals in various sizes.
