Ti:Sapphire Crystals, 5mm Length, uncoated

Titanium-doped sapphire is a widely used transition metal-doped laser crystal. Ti3+ ions have a very large gain bandwidth, which opens up the possibility to obtain very broad wavelength tunability achieved in short-pulse lasers. Ti:sapphire crystals are characterized by short up-state lifetime and high saturation power. We can supply titanium-doped sapphire crystals in various sizes.

Ti:sapphire crystals have infinite stability and lifetime throughout lasing across the 600-1050 nm band, which can challenge "dirty" dyes in a variety of applications. Ti:Sapphire crystals have many existing and potential applications, such as medical laser systems, lidar, laser spectroscopy.

Excellent thermal conductivity; wide gain bandwidth; multiple possible pump wavelengths (typically 532 nm)
