Potassium arsenate titanate (KTA) is a nonlinear optical crystal used in optical parametric oscillation (OPO) applications. It has good nonlinear optical and electro-optic coefficients, significantly reduced absorption in the 2.0–5.0 µm region, wide angle and temperature bandwidth, and low dielectric constant.

The higher damage threshold of KTA crystals is due to its low ionic conductivity and lower absorption in the wavelength range of 3-4 μm than the former.
Ideal for Optical Parametric Oscillation (OPO) with MWIR outputs up to 4 microns.
