Barium fluoride (BaF2) is used in optical windows, prisms and lenses to convert ultraviolet light to infrared light and can be used as infrared laser windows or lenses. We can provide BaF2 windows to our customers.

1. Useful transmission range covers 0.265-10 µm; 2. Fluoride is the most resistant to high-energy radiation; 3. The solubility of BaF2 is lower than that of LiF, but it is relatively more soluble than MgF2 and CaF2.
BaF2 materials are often used as VUV windows where high radiation resistance is required.
