We provide customers with mounted achromatic half-wave and quarter-wave retardation waveplates. Achromatic waveplates are made of two different materials: crystalline quartz and magnesium fluoride, with a high-efficiency broadband anti-reflection coating in an air-spaced design. These waveplates are ideal for multi-wavelength and broadband operation because they have constant retardation over a specific broad wavelength range.

The retardation tolerance of our achromatic waveplates is better than λ/100 over the entire wavelength range. Achromatic waveplates are available in four wavelength ranges: VIS (450-680nm), NIR (700-1000nm), 950-1300nm, 1200-1650nm.
The flat response of these waveplates is ideal for use with tunable lasers, multi-laser line systems, and other broad-spectrum sources.
