For laser applications or safety requirements, laser windows are utilized to provide high transmission of particular wavelengths. Laser windows may be created for laser safety or laser transmission. Laser windows are designed to offer a secure, observable surface through which the laser or laser system can be viewed in safety applications. The laser beam can be isolated using laser windows, which do this by reflecting or absorbing all other wavelengths. For applications involving laser transmission or laser blocking, a variety of laser windows are available.
For a variety of laser delivery or laser safety purposes, Alfa Chemistry offers a wide selection of laser windows. In addition to BK7, fused silica, float glass, and CaF2, we also use other materials. Additionally, we provide laser windows with a surface quality of 40-20 and a flatness of 1/10 in a variety of sizes and forms. Up to five seconds can be used to control parallelism.
Our laser windows effectively deflect undesired wavelengths while offering great transmission of the desired wavelengths. The Nd:YAG, CO2, KTP, or argon ion laser sources are suitable laser applications for the acrylic laser window. Any required shape can be readily cut out of the acrylic laser window.
