Simple lenses with a spherical surface and a planar plane are concave lenses. The lenses' negative focal lengths - due to the concaveness of the sphere - allow them to enhance the divergence of converging light. The lens can be used to counteract other lenses' spherical aberration. Concave lenses are so excellent for directing laser beams. Alfa Chemistry is the preferred partner for manufacturing concave lenses specifically tailored to each customer's specific needs. In our cutting-edge metrology lab, our highly qualified personnel test each product to make sure it complies with requirements. Please get in touch with our technical sales team for further details on your custom concave lenses requirements.
Our Capabilities
A variety of unique concave lenses are available from Alfa Chemistry, including high-quality N-BK7 concave lenses, SF11 concave lenses, and high-refractive-index laser-type items. For design and lab use, we also provide sets of customized concave lenses. The optical material is a crucial requisite for a concave lense. Alfa Chemistry offers optical concave lenses made from fused silica, N-BK7, optical glass, UV and IR crystals, and optically molded plastics. Our custom options include uncoated or a variety of coatings for UV-VIS-NIR spectroscopy. Our dedication to quality and timely delivery makes sure that our clients receive their orders when they need them. We can produce your unique radius of curvature with no additional lead time because to our in-house tooling capabilities.

Applications:
Our custom concave lenses can be used for a variety of purposes, such as medium-grade imaging, laser beam focusing and control, and other optical equipment. In multi-element optical systems, they reduce the power of the system. On their own, they create a diverging cone or virtual image. Our custom concave lenses are utilized in a variety of applications in the scientific, medical, imaging, defense, and industrial areas. They range from commercial grade to precise quality from the UV to IR spectrum. Typical uses are beam expanders.

Quality Assurance
Each custom concave lense is carefully tested to all applicable standards using state-of-the-art photometric equipment. We inspect each custom product before it is shipped to our customers. Each component is individually tested by our highly skilled technicians in our state-of-the-art laboratory to ensure that all components meet our high-quality standards. So customers can be completely confident that the concave lense they order will be the best fit for their application.
Alfa Chemistry is always looking to expand and work with customers to achieve their specifications, so please feel free to contact our technical sales team for more information and guidance on your enquiry.
