Custom Bandpass Filters

Optical bandpass filters have a well-defined transmittance region, defined on both sides by well-defined spectral rejection regions. Alfa Chemistry provides custom services for high-quality bandpass filters, including interference filters, colored glass filters, gelatin filters, polyester filters, variable bandpass and fringe filters, fluorescent filters, dichroic bandpass filters, and light-blocking filters. We offer the best bandpass filters solutions by considering all design factors such as specifications, budget, and delivery schedule. Please contact our technical sales team for more information on your custom bandpass filter needs.

Our Capabilities

Custom Colored Glass Bandpass Filters

To increase transmission, custom-colored glass bandpass filters can be polished thinner. Anti-reflective coatings can also be applied to filters to lessen reflections and boost transmission even further. Custom colored glass filters are excellent for applications where it is impossible to precisely control the angle of incidence of incident light due to their high permeability at certain wavelengths.

Custom Interference Bandpass Filters

These bandpass filters only let light with specific narrow bandwidths and wavelengths pass; all other light between 200nm and 2000nm is reflected or blocked. We use the best interferometric bandpass filters available, and each one is specially treated for maximum long-term stability.

Custom Fluorescent Bandpass Filters

The filters are made specifically for use in measurements used in clinical chemistry, spectroscopy, fluorescence microscopy, and other life sciences. The filter's center wavelength can have a narrow 50% bandwidth of under 20 nm and more than 90% peak transmittance. Outside of this band, the filter blocks wavelengths better than 6OD from the UV to the NIR.

Custom Dichroic Bandpass and Bandstop Filters

Dichroic filters divide light into two or three bands, reflecting one or more bands and transmitting the others. Both dichroic bandpass filters and dichroic bandstop filters are available as custom options.

Quality Assurance

In our cutting-edge metrology laboratory, our qualified personnel test each product to make sure it complies with requirements. We maintain inspection capabilities that enable us to perform high-precision spectroscopic measurements from 200 nm to 30 µm, as well as measurements from moisture resistance to physical, optical, and environmental parameters, to make sure that our products meet the high standards demanded by today's cutting-edge technologies.
